Attorney MICHAEL J. TORCHALSKI has been
actively engaged in the private practice of law for over 25 years, with 10
years at a major law firm. “Our
philosophy is to provide effective, result-oriented, legal services and
solutions for our clients.” The legal practice concentrations of Mr.
Torchalski include business litigation and
arbitration,
personal injury, commercial real estate, residential
real estate and title insurance, construction and mechanics lien,
condominium and homeowners’ association, business & corporate law, and

Michael Torchalski is a graduate of the University
of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana,
and Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a member of student
government and graduated with honors. He was inducted into the Bar and
Gavel Society in recognition of “outstanding service to the student body,
the school, and the legal community.”
Mr.
Torchalski also served as a student law clerk for Judge Thomas R. McMillen of the United States District Court. Mr.
Torchalski has authored: The Implied Covenant of Good Faith...As Applied
to Illinois Banks, Illinois Banker (Jan. 1994) and for nine years has
co-authored Owner and Third-Party
Defenses Against Contractor and Subcontractor Mechanics Lien Claims, Illinois
Institute for Continuing Legal Education (2000, 2007).
Mr. Torchalski is a
member of the Knights of Columbus, the
Kiwanis Club of Crystal Lake
(charter member & former president), and the McHenry Area Chamber of
Commerce.
